Relaxed & Low-Key
Head to the public beaches such as Playa Paraíso or Santa Fe for a more laid-back experience. Bring towels, plenty of water, and snacks, and enjoy the wide sandy beaches and turquoise water at your own pace.
Please help protect Tulum’s beautiful coastline by avoiding single-use plastic bottles and packing out any garbage you bring with you.
Easy & Balanced
Start your day at one of the public beaches, then bike or drive into the Hotel Zone for lunch, drinks, or a little beach club atmosphere. It’s a great way to experience both the natural beauty of Tulum and its vibrant beachfront scene.
Elevated Beach Club Day
For a more curated experience, spend the day at popular beach clubs such as La Zebra, Ahau, or Mia. Enjoy comfortable loungers, food and beverage service, and a lively social atmosphere right on the sand.

Cenotes
One of the most unique parts of visiting Tulum is exploring its cenotes—natural freshwater pools hidden within the jungle, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and connecting with nature. Each cenote offers a different experience, from open-air swimming holes to cave-like formations and crystal-clear waters.

Tips for Visiting
Visit early in the morning for cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.
Sunscreen is not permitted in most cenotes, including biodegradable varieties, as it can damage these fragile freshwater ecosystems.
Consider wearing UV-protective swimwear or rash guards for sun protection instead.
Bring cash for admission fees, as some cenotes do not accept cards.
Water shoes can be helpful depending on the cenote and entry conditions.
Help preserve these natural wonders by avoiding lotions, insect repellents, and other products before entering the water.
Local Tip: Bring a towel, reusable water bottle, and snorkel gear if you have it. Some of the best moments happen when you arrive early and have the cenote almost entirely to yourself.
